Exhibition of new work by Jonathan Brennan. Taking Belfast’s rivers as a point of departure, I have been developing a new body of work looking at: issues around ecology (how we experience/manage rivers in urban areas); river ownership/maintenance (rivers diverted/culverted by private ventures); river narratives and metaphors (rivers as a way of talking about other things, under the surface). The show will feature my research and works in progress to date.
