In this short video piece, specially commissioned for NIMHAF in partnership with Strand Arts Centre, Artist Jonathan Brennan looks at a family in isolation – homeschooling, slow-cooking, keeping in touch, sowing seeds, hand washing, trying to not think too far ahead, trying to stay away from the news, trying not to leave the radio on too long when children are in earshot, trying to give answers to difficult questions, trying to set an example, trying to have some structure as the days melt into each other, trying to hold it all together. Jonathan Brennan is a multi-disciplinary artist working in printmaking, painting, photography and video.
